This is Kent Moore specialty tool J-21777-29, Pinion Gauge Adapter Plate, made to be used with J-21777-01 or later sets. Cadillac: 75 later 8 ring gear. Buick: 71 later 8 5/8 ring gear replaces J-5647-45 -47.
